Impact Resistant Doors

Impact 2-1/4” doors are built using internal reinforcements of steel bars and fiber laminates. This internal fiberglass and steel reinforcement achieves the stability and dimensional integrity required of larger doors in a high wind velocity storm. This, combined with the Surebolt™ system, is why we have Impact certification for up to 7/0 x 10/0 openings, without having to use multipoint locks.

Three types of materials can be used with Impact Doors: Reinforced Wood Panels, Laminated Impact glass, and Insulated/Laminated Impact glass.
